ORGANISERS of this year's BereFest were delighted with the turnout to the third annual music festival held in Collytown near Bere Alston.

Once again the event made a healthy profit which will be shared between the four organisations that make up the organising group, BereCom — Chatterbox Parents Group, TiddlyWinks Toddler Group, Bere Alston Regeneration Project and Help for Heroes.

BereCom has again decided to donate a portion of the profit to other Bere Peninsula Groups.

Anyone who would like to apply for this donation, please apply in writing to Julie Overnell by emailing [email protected]">[email protected] or phone 01822 840452, stating a small description of your group, what you would spend the money on and what difference it would make to your group.

The closing date for applications is September 12.
