Bere Alston 4 Sticker 2 STICKER travelled to Bere Alston with a very strong side. With the advantage of a strong wind in the first half there is not much between both sides. Truscott and Hallet both went close as did Davis for Sticker. A mistake in the Bere defence allowed the lively Davis to score. Just before the break he doubled the visitors lead with a well taken goal. Again for the second week running Bere Alston stepped up the game and dominated the second period. Damond and Westlake combinded in setting up Truscott to score from close range to start the revival. Within minutes Bere were on level terms as Blatchford?s cross was volleyed into the top corner from Wheeler. Bere continued to press forward with Westlake, Truscott and Reid going close. Wheeler then saw his header come back off the bar, then his fine run into the box ended up with him being fouled. He got up and converted the penalty. Just before the end Blatchford?s fine run came to an abrupt end and again Wheeler stepped up to convert and cap a fine hattrick. This Saturday away to Boscastle with kick off at 2.30pm.
