Yelverton Gold Club ladies' results: Stableford and Norton rose bowl: Division one: Winner, Bente Bergan 37 points; runner-up, Annette Sweeney 31 points; division two: Sally Arscott 37 points (winner of Norton Rosebowl); runner-up, Sue Rumbold, 33 points.
The Norton Rosebowl was presented in 1964 by Miss L S Norton who was lady captain in 1964. It is a Stableford competition for veterans aged 55 and over.
Medal: division one: Barbara Collier, nett 71; runner-up, Mair Preston-Jones, nett 74. Division 2: Winner, Sue Rumbold, nett 76; runner-up, Kay Creaven, nett 78.
The Silver Salver, which is a two day competition played in conjunction with the August medal, has been re-scheduled due to thick fog on August 20 — it will now be played on November 4 and 5.
