Okehampton conceded an early try, however, after that setback they started playing some good rugby and replied with an individual effort from Eddie Mann which he converted.

This was only the young side's second game and they were playing it without a recognised hooker. Although the pack played well in the first half, against six South West Colts, they tired in the second half and Barnstaple ran out worthy winners.
