A TAVISTOCK barber will be swapping scissors for a spatula as he gets busy baking in a bid to raise £500 for a charity supporting people with learning disabilities.

Paul Ewings, proprietor of the Original Barber Shop, will be hosting a cake party to raise money for ROC Welcome Tavistock.

The money raised will fund a special summer outing for local people with learning disabilities.

The Barber Shop Cake Party will take place on Thursday, July 25.
