Milton Abbot v Whitchurch
WHITCHURCH completed a convincing win at Milton Abbot in Saturday's Tamar League match.
The home side, batting first, were dismissed for 39, with Paul Barber (27) the only batsman to reach double figures. Graham Horler (4 for 11) and Kit Reeve (4 for 13) did the damage for Whitchurch and the innings was finished off by Neil Tamblin (1 for 9) and Andy Alford (1 for 6).
The Whitchurch batsmen were pinned down by some accurate bowling from Mike Marker (3 for 17) and Paul Barber who bowled well without any luck.
Ewen Rae (12) batted well before being bowled by a shooter from Marker. Josh Sutton (12 no) and Ian Gray (8 no) saw Whitchurch home safely in the 25th over.
