LIMELIGHT Music Nights at The Wharf in Tavistock have switched to Thursdays and tonight (May 12) promises to be extra special with a superb trio of performers.

Haunt the Woods are a young band hailing from Plymouth who were invited to perform the recently revived TV show hosted by Chris Evans,  TFI.

Fronted by Jonathon Stafford the band’s genre is best described as folk prog (progressive) and band members have received rave reviews for displaying a maturity way beyond their years.

Also appearing will be Sam Lillicrap best known for his role in Rock and Roll Outlaws but now writing and performing his own material in SLM.

The third act will be Keira Osmet who was reviewed by a Devon newspaper as ‘having a honey soaked voice that startles and sparkles in equal measure!’

All performers get a share of the takings — gig-goers be asked upon entry who they are there to support and their ticket takings will go to that performer.

Of course if you’re there to support the night in general then it is shared out between all playing.

The evening kicks off at 8pm and organiser Ellie Fox said: ‘It’s just getting better and better, the calibre of promising acts around the region is exceptional. We’re very lucky to have them playing on our stage.’
