A YOUNG East Cornwall fundraiser has been recognised yet again for his charity efforts receiving a Gorsedh Kernow Award. Callington College student Jonny Burnard was invited to attend the annual awards by the Council of Gorsedh Kernow to receive the exceptional endeavour award for his charity work over the last five years, organising a number of challenging walks to support children abroad and in Cornwall and in particular raising thousands of pounds for Little Harbour Children's Hospice. Jonny was nominated by bard of Gorsedh Kernow Barbara Shaw and was announced as the recipient of the award last week.
