AWARD winning author Tom Vowler is celebrating the publication of his debut novel by holding a book reading, signing and question and answer session.

The public will also have the chance to enjoy

tea and cake with Tom after the session on Sunday, August 4.

His short story collection, The Method, won the International Scott Prize in 2010 and the Edge Hill Readers' Award in 2011. His debut novel, What Lies Within, is a psychological thriller set on the uplands of Dartmoor and has already received critical acclaim.

The free entry launch of the paperback issue will be held at the Old Chapel in Calstock, with the café opening at 2pm, and Tom reading extracts from his book at 3pm.
