GET Changed Theatre Company has raised more than £3,000 at a unique art auction which concluded on Saturday.

Over 100 items by local artists were auctioned off at the event, including pictures by local artists Kari McGowan and Mary Cole, a turned oak candlestick, patchwork quilt and much more.

The funds raised will go towards the theatre company's current 'Respect' project which will culminate with performances at the Octagon Theatre at Okehampton College next April.

Get Changed is a not-for-profit organisation offering adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to build life skills, confidence and self-esteem by developing and participating in performing arts.
