ORGANISERS and arrangers were delighted  at the number of visitors to St Nicholas Chuch, Broadwoodwidger, for the annual bank holiday flower festival. 

The theme was 'Local Attractions' and the arrangements were imaginative and to a high standard.

The church was well filled on Sunday for an ecumenical service led by the Rev Preb Tim Deacon. Mary Mazur-Parke was organist.

A total of £1,100 was raised for church maintenance. David Hannaford won the raffle.

The churchwardens and PCC expressed thanks to all who came, the flower -arrangers and those who worked so hard to  prepare the chuch and churchyard.
