AN INFLATABLE assault course and cookery demonstrations by Peter Gorton are two of the attractions at the HeartSWell South West Grand Summer Fair in Yelverton on Sunday, August 27. The fair will he held from 12 noon to 4pm at Yelverton War Memorial Hall and field, where there will be stalls selling everything from crafts, Boyds Bears and the charity?s merchandise to locally produced food and a chocolate fountain. A balloon race, with balloons costing £1 each, will have a prize for the balloon travelling the furthest. As well as the cookery demonstration, Peter Gorton will be conducting a charity auction. It is hoped that Plymouth Sound?s Black Thunder will also make an appearance. Stalls are still available, at £10 each.
