A RECORD-breaking 79 pictures were sold during another successful Art in the Heart of Devon Exhibition.
The weekend in June, which consisted of a preview weekend and two days of public opening, drew in the visitors to Cheriton Bishop Village Hall.
The total amount of money raised from the weekend is expected to be in excess of £2,000.
The certificate for ?favourite picture? voted for by the public was awarded to Don Nicholson for the third year running, with his painting ?Bracken and Birches at Lustleigh Castle?. Second place went to ?By the River Taw? painted by Pam Cox.
Proceeds from the annual event go to the Save the Children Fund.
