AN art exhibition at Okehampton Simmons Bowling Club has raised £285 for charity.

The club hosted an exhibition of watercolours and other works in September. Five paintings were sold to raise money for Children's Hospice South West, including two by Alec Davey.

Mr Davey (above) recently presented a cheque to CHSW's Angela Hammond. Mr Davey said: 'The exhibition went very well, and we are happy to have raised so much for charity.'
