POLICE seized drugs and made arrests after stopping a car near Dartmoor Prison on Saturday.

Just after 11pm, a Ford Focus was stopped and a man, 28, and woman, 25, both from the Bristol area, were searched and police say they were found to be in possession of a substantial amount of controlled drugs, telephones and ancillary equipment.

The man and woman were arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of controlled drugs but have been bailed while police carry out further enquiries.
