Okehampton Argyle U12s 3 Bideford U12s 3 ARGYLE played brilliantly, and, despite not having played for the last three weeks the team got off to a good start with Jake Ayris narrowly missing the Bideford goal in the first few minutes. Argyle?s defence continued to play on excellent form, with Jack Stanbury , Paul Winthorpe, Tom Battershall, Kyle Kinneally and Tim Doidge keeping the ball from the Argyle end, and Will Searle, Paul Gent, Jake Ayris, Bradley Ausden working hard to get the ball up to the Bideford net. However, Bideford were also playing well, and finally got lucky and took the lead 1-0 shortly before half time. Just after half time Jake Ayris scored for Argyle to make the score 1 -1. Argyle almost got another goal shortly afterwards but the ball was kicked out of the Bideford goal right on the goal line. Bideford retaliated scoring their second goal. Jack Stanbury continued to work hard to limit the opportunities that Bideford had. The score was levelled again with Will Searle hitting home an excellent shot. Will Ingram continued to make excellent saves as Bideford stepped up the pressure. The work paid off and Bideford scored again to take them into the lead.
