AN exciting future is in store for one of the projects that helps benefit Dartmoor and its communities. The Dartmoor Trust?s most important achievement was established in 2003 ? the Dartmoor Archive. It is now set to move to a new base at Delamore near Cornwall ? and will be recruiting a new archive manager to oversee its day to day running. The archive is supported by Exeter University and is devoted to the acquisition and digital archiving of photographic images of Dartmoor. The Dartmoor Trust said: ?It has become one of the most distinctive archives of its type and has recently received substantial funding from a private bequest which has added additional impetus to this outstanding archive.?
