THE recent exhibition of old Okehampton Archive material at Okehampton Conservative Club gained so much interest that organisers have decided to hold another display at the club this weekend.

The exhibition will take a new format this time, as three families with a long history in the town will be providing photographs, memorabilia and more.

Hilary and Mike Wreford, organisers of the event, are well known local historians with a wealth of old Okehampton Archive material and have written five books on Okehampton as well as contributing to a number of West Country books. They will be providing further fresh photographs and other memorabilia from their long collection for others to enjoy.

The exhibition will take place at Okehampton Conservative Club this Saturday (December 4) from 7pm. Admission to the event is free.
