RHS Rosemoor will hold its very own apple day on October 6, in celebration of the bountiful harvest expected there this year.

The Rosemoor Apple Day, now in its 20th year, makes for a fun day out for all the family with apple displays, apple pressing and cookery demonstrations, guided walks, children's activities and plenty of opportunities to taste and buy local varieties of apples, cider and juice.

Food champion and local personality 'Dan The Fish Man' from Clovelly will be on hand with his exciting and unusual apple and cider recipes. RHS experts will be identifying apples brought in by visitors and giving out advice.

The apple day is organised in conjunction with Orchards Live, Thornhayes Nursery and the RHS South West Area Fruit Group. For more information visit rhs.org.uk/gardens/rosemoor/what-s-on or phone 01805 626800.
