A WOMAN is appealing for anyone who witnessed someone driving dangerously in Morrisons car park in Tavistock on Sunday to contact the police.

The woman said she was in the supermarket car park when a man drove his car at high speed around the perimeter and nearly knocked over a couple who were walking away from their car as he swerved into a parking space.

‘He was driving very, very fast and erratically — it was an inappropriate speed for the car park. I heard him before I saw him,’ she said.

The lady said she contacted police about the incident but they needed another independent witness to come forward before they could do anything. The lady is now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident on Sunday, July 10 at around 11.50am to contact police.

She said the car was a navy blue Citroen C3. She said there were other people around at the time who witnessed his erratic driving and is encouraging them to make contact with the police.
