Police are asking for the help of the public in tracing two stolen pieces of jewellery from a Tavistock house.

Officers investigating the theft of the valuable and sentimental jewellery are appealing for information on its whereabouts.

To help return it back to its owner, police have issued a picture of the stolen gold chain necklace and bracelet.

It is believed the items might have been sold online.
