THE Tavistock and District Local History Society is due to re-issue a booklet on Whitchurch Down and would be grateful for the loan of any photographs or postcards of activities on the Down before 1960 from your readers.
Of particular interest would be photographs of commoners, military camps and sporting activities (groups of horse riders, golfers or footballers).
