PROMINENT Tavistock auctioneers Robin A Fenner & Co are launching their new weekly valuation days tomorrow (Friday).
In honour of the occasion, they are welcoming antiques expert, James Braxton, a familiar face to many from his regular appearances on BBC TV?s Bargain Hunt and Flog It.
The valuation days have just been announced by the Fine Art Auction Group, which acquired the gallery last year.
They will be held every Friday, offering people the opportunity to have their cherished items and family heirlooms valued by the experts.
Auctioneer, Adam Croton, said: ?We?ve thought for some time that it would make sense to have a regular day for valuations, so that we?re more accessible to the people of Tavistock.
?People still have the perception that we?re a closed house, so this should make us more of a presence in the town.?
Philippa Deeley, another expert from Bargain Hunt, will be joining the valuation team on various future occasions.
