Angered by water increase

THIS week I received South West Water?s water and sewerage service charge bill for the coming year. This privatised company has increased the charge over the last year by 18.38%. With inflation at its lowest level for years this is outrageous, and I would suggest that serious consideration should be given to the structure and management of the company. Since 1995 the charge has been increased by £249.05 per annum, ie 70.85%; the state pension by 45.25%. N W Hurn Lower Orchard Chillaton
