CHILDREN and adults are promised an entertaining evening when performer Niki McCretton brings her show ?Muttnik ? the first dog in space? to Calstock Village Hall tomorrow (Friday). Following her acclaimed show ?Throw me a bone?, which has toured to sell out audiences in London and the USA, Niki brings on her own slant on what happened to Laika, the dog sent into space aboard the Russian Sputnik 2 rocket in 1957. Told with dance, music and puppetry, this enchanting tale feeds the imagination and is suitable for children over three. The performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available on 01822 834418.
