I THOROUGHLY enjoyed Mr Sherell's skit again this week. Perhaps he could put it to music and address it Dear Lisa, dear Lisa? Although I bow to his masochistic knowledge of Plymouth Argyle's chances of promotion I beg to differ about his writing a best seller. If not in his own hands the opportunity is in his own typing fingers. Dickens, I believe, serialised his books first, today's youngsters blog and tweet to prominence (three or four autobiographies by the time they are 30). James Herriot years back, Villager Jim and the Herdwick Shepherd prove the interest there is in country life. I suggest there are are millions of townies out there who have no comprehension of what rural life past and present is 'all about'. So I suggest an autobiography for your best seller Mr Sherrell.
