A MASSIVE labyrinth could be created in Hatherleigh as part of an ambitious project dreamt up by local artist Yvette Martin-Fleming.
The unique project will transform three acres of field into a round labyrinth attraction to promote the arts and the local area.
Inspired by the circular form of Hatherleigh?s market, Yvette is looking to create a labyrinth of rings to host various arts events and attract tourists, on the outskirts of Hatherleigh, next to the bypass.
She hopes to create a one-kilometre open cloistered cob and thatch labyrinth around a simple circular theatre space, which could be used by the people of the town.
