NEW students at Tavistock College recently attended a 'freshers' fair' to see what extra curricular clubs are on offer.
The college runs many extra curricular clubs, sports teams and activities and when Year 7 students first arrive at the school, it can be difficult to decide which club to attend and when they take place.
To overcome this, the college hosted the 'freshers' fair' recently one lunch time and all staff who run extra curricular activities were there to promote and give insight into their clubs.
The school hall was buzzing as sport teachers told students about the teams they could join, drama and dance clubs displayed some of their dances and the music clubs brought instruments, including electric guitars, for all to try.
Science teachers introduced students to the wonders of science and the enterprise club told them about the new club which aims to run a business by designing, creating and selling products.
