YELVERTON War Memorial Hall rainwater harvest scheme had its grand opening on Saturday, September 19.
Bill Hitchins from the Dartmoor National Park, Councillor Philip Saunders from WDBC, Tony Samuel, hall treasurer, Carole Thompson, hall chairman and supporters, were in attendance to inspect the new system. They are pictured above.
The system has been put in place as a way to save money and collects and recycles rainwater by piping it as it runs off the roof into a large external tank and pumping it back into the hall to use as grey water.
