MORE than 100 exhibitors are due to attend this summer?s South West Woodfair at Roadford Lake near Broadwoodwidger, held by South West Forest.
The event takes place on July 12 and is likely to be the biggest in its three-year history at the lake.
Exhibits and demonstrations include charcoal making, heavy horse logging, owls, steam traction engine, saw mill, yurt making, thatching and green wood instruments, among many others.
In addition, there is a wide variety of children?s entertainments, such as a clown, face painting, storytelling, mask making and a Punch and Judy show.
The woodfair aims to promote the use of wood and woodland in the South West, in a day that entertains the whole family as well as the professional woodland sector, farmers and landowners.
The woodfair at Roadford Lake opens at 10am. Admission is £3.50, under 16s free.
