ON Saturday at Okehampton Golf Park members took part in the National Seve Ballesteros Foundation Day supporting Cancer Research UK.

Winner of division one after countback with 41 points was Peter Kiss from, in second Malcolm Hooper. In third came Nick Redman with 40 points.

Division two was won by Neil Penfold with 42, second was Paul Widdows with 39 and James Morey third with 38. The winner of division three with 38 was Michael MacDonald, in second after countback came Stephen Pike with 35 from, in third, Jonathan Swainbank.

Winner of the ladies competition was Marcia Jones with 33pts, Janice Thwaites with 32 second and Val Dodsworth third.

The club captain Mike Hutchinson thanks everyone for their generosity which has enabled him to send a cheque for £1,000 to the Seve Ballesteros Foundation Charity — a charity very close to his heart.
