From December 18 the Saturday service 632 from Bratton Clovelly to Exeter will pick up in Germansweek, Northlew and Spreyton.
Chairman of Spreyton Parish Council John Filor said it was marvellous that the village now had the link to Exeter.
'Obviously, Devon County Council has decided that little villages do need a little bit of transport occasionally.' he said. 'The next step will be providing a service to get people to work in the mornings.'
A regular bus to Crediton was recently provided for the people of Spreyton after they had raised concerns about their lack of bus services.
For Germansweek the new service will mean the reinstatement of a link which was withdrawn some years ago.
A day return to Exeter from Bratton Clovelly, Germansweek and Northlew will cost £3.50 and £2.50 from Spreyton and there are reductions on family fares.
