AT Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday more than 100 competitors took part in a qualifying Stableford for the Stuart Wilson Trophy.
The winner of the trophy and division three with a superb 46 points was Alex Green. Second in division three with 37pts was Chris Goodman and third was Phil Hawking also with 37.
Division one was won by Phil Martin with 42; second came Graham Moysey with 40 and Gareth Holt was third with 37. The winner of division two was Alan Searle with 39 on the back nine from, in second Kerry Skinner also with 39; third was Dave Harwood with 38.
The Okehampton ladies Sheelah Creasy team lost away at Sidmouth.
The ladies Section played the June Stableford, which was won in the silver division by Abby Turner with 36 points; second was Penny Deakin with 32. Winner of the bronze division was Michelle Abel with 31 and second was Lorna McCurrach with 30.
