TWO Okehampton Air Cadets have returned from an expedition to the Croatian town of Kraljevica where they undertook essential maintenance work on a hospital for disabled children. Sgt Bekky Mant, Flt Sgt Beatrice Mingham and ten other cadets from Devon and Cornwall helped out with plastering, painting and re-flooring, accompanied by four staff members, including Okehampton?s own Flt Lt Philip Mingham. The cadets said they thoroughly enjoyed themselves despite the hard work and were proud to have transformed previously unusable areas of the building into pleasant areas for patients and their families.
