DJM U16s Rodney

St Blazey U16s 3

Horrabridge Rangers U16s 2

HORRABRIDE will wonder how they left Blazie Park with nothing having led in injury time 2-1.

The hosts should have taken the lead after two minutes but Carr was denied by a spectacular one handed save by Ollie Cox.

The rest of the half was very much an even encounter but Horrabridge took the lead after 21 minutes when Taylor Kingham's defence splitting pass sent Max Burgess racing clear and he made no mistake in beating the keeper from 16 yards.

With the Rangers' defence and in particular Will Glanville and Aaron Johnson in commanding form, St Blazey were restricted to long range efforts but it was a 25 yard screamer by Tregido that equalise for the hosts.

In the second half the Rangers midfield of Harry Eaton, Jack Northam, Courtney Fry and Taylor Kingham worked tirelessly, and they were rewarded when after 70 minutes Max Burgess chipped the oncoming keeper from 20 yards.

However with the game in injury time two late goals from St Blazey gave the Cornish side the win.
