TWO Tavistock-based organisations have benefited from the generosity of South West independent furniture retailer Fairway Furniture .

Having recently undergone refurbishment to the inside of its Tavistock showroom, the retailer held a major relaunch promotional event, during which every customer placing an order was asked to nominate which of two chosen local organisations should receive a donation.

The two chosen by the company were the Tavistock Muscular Dystrophy Support Group and Tavistock Youth Café.  

Company managing director Peter Harding said: 'We have always had a strong involvement in the Tavistock community and we are delighted to be able to help two organisations who do fantastic work and who will make good use of these donations.'
