STAFF at West Devon Citizens Advice Bureau will be out and about this summer extending their service in rural areas. With regular monthly outreach advice sessions now arranged at Lifton Surgery and Chagford Health Centre on the first Thursday and Tuesday of the month respectively, plans are also underway to offer a service in Princetown. Staff will be joining West Devon Borough Council?s housing advice team at Wesley House in Princetown today (Thursday) for a first trial session. Mandy Kenyon, development officer for CAB, said: ?It is absolutely vital that we provide better access to our services, particularly in such a rural area. Last week we operated our first advice session from Hatherleigh Market, which was very successful. ?Vicks auctioneers have allocated a private office for our use on the first and third Tuesday market of the month. The facilities are perfect as they provide a great deal of privacy in an essentially busy environment.? Despite the extension to rural services the West Devon Bureau will maintain its current opening hours in Tavistock and Okehampton. The Tavistock bureau opens on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10.30am until 1.30pm and the Okehampton Bureau opens on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am until 3pm.
