NEARLY half of all children for whom adoptive families are being sought need to be adopted together with their brothers and sisters.   Therefore this year's National Adoption Week (November 3 to 9) is focussing on siblings to encourage more people to consider whether they can give a loving, secure and permanent home to a sibling group and help stop brothers and sisters being separated. Adopters are welcomed from all walks of life.  You don't need to be married or under 40; you can be gay or straight and you don't need to own your own home.  If you think you could adopt, there will be information events taking place throughout the UK.
