A NEW approach to the holiday activities run at Tavistock College has proven successful with more than 70 children taking part in the February activities on offer. The Sports Centre took a different approach to the programme and introduced a more sport specific design, which was deemed a success by its organisers, with eleven children attending the outdoor archery event, 12 children attending the day netball course, 24 attending the Arsenal Soccer School and 30 children attending the climbing activity, of which the demand was so great a second session was run. Barry Mountstevens, Sports Centre manager, is now working on the Easter holiday programme from April 7 to 18. He advises students to keep an eye on the school notice boards and sports centre website http://www.tavistockcollege.devon.sch.uk/sports_centre">www.tavistockcollege.devon.sch.uk/sports_centre for activity information.
