FAMILIES, thrill seekers, event goers and active adults are all the target of a new marketing campaign to be rolled out by tourism organisation Dartmoor Partnership, in a bid to attract new visitors and raise the profile of Dartmoor as a holiday destination.

The Dartmoor Partnership is launching its largest ever marketing campaign aimed at building on the current 'Active Dartmoor' theme and capitalising on Dartmoor's strengths as a destination full of exciting things to do. Featuring ideas for outdoor activities and adventures, rainy day entertainment and family fun as well as showcasing scenic locations, great eating venues and culture and heritage, the campaigns have been devised to encourage year-round visits, boost short breaks and promote day trips.

It is the most comprehensive campaign created for Dartmoor for many years, utilising igital promotion, Google AdWords, competitions, printed literature and social media, as well as targeted media visits, high profile advertisements in specialist publications and national press.
