THE Future Generation Youth Group have received a grant for £1,000 to help improve their facilities for young people.

The grant, which was presented by Torridge councillor Phillip Collins, was spent on purchasing a laptop and a karaoke machine for the youngsters to use.

The group accepts new members from all over Cllr Collins' Clinton ward and beyond, and meets twice a month in the Baxter Hall in Petrockstowe.
