A WEALTH of wonderful wildlife is just waiting to be discovered during the 15th annual Wildlife Week, which is running in Devon from World Environment Day on June 5.
Throughout the county there will be a wide variety of activities for all the family to enjoy, including flower and butterfly walks, organic farm trails or helping a local nature reserves.
Paul Gompertz, director of Devon Wildlife Trust, said: ?Wildlife Week gives everyone in Devon an opportunity to celebrate the teeming complexity of living things in the natural world around us.
?Most we will never see, from the smallest micro-organism at work in our compost heaps, to towering trees like black poplar and Devon whitebeam.
?Wildlife week is a chance to reflect and be thankful for all that wildlife means to us, from the beauty of a bluebell wood to healthy air, soil and water.?
