MOORLAND Guides has started its winter walks on the west side of Dartmoor.
The next scheduled walk will take place on Sunday January 15, when Peter Challiss will lead a six-hour walk from Two Bridges Car Park to Cut Hill, starting at 10am.
Cut Hill is the furthest place from a public road on Dartmoor and as such is the remotest place in Southern England. This will be a cross-moor walk needing full weatherproof clothing, boots, food and drink.
The cost is £10 per person and further details are available by emailing [email protected]">[email protected]
