LIFTON Primary School performed its summer production recently ? leaving audiences astounded by the high quality production. The Saga of Fforkbeard, a musical drama, was based on a play written by Mike Croft. The original script was for a production for 7 children and a collection of Vikings and Braves. Since half term, children in years 4, 5 and 6 at the school have worked to hard compose additional scenes in preparation for the whole school production ? starring 110 children! The exciting and fulfilling adaptation of the original script featured some unusual characters, including a beast, a pack of dogs and a band of island braves. The story follows the adventure of a band of Vikings who visit a mysterious island where they encounter many strange adventures under the command of their leader Fforkbeard, played by eleven year old Ben Sims.
