A DEPLETED Tavistock faced a Caradon team in the ascendancy. A hard fought game was played in a competitive spirit.
Caradon opened the scoring quickly, notching two early goals, hitting Tavistock on the break.
Their fast and furious game denied Tavistock the ability to settle and utilise their usual structure.
Tavistock opened their account with a short corner goal from Vinson through a forest of legs. Caradon hit back with a smash and grab raid on the Tavistock defence which put them 4-1 in the lead.
Before the break Tavistock were awarded a penalty which Vinson hit home.
As the second half got underway, Tavistock's injury list continued to grow. Man of the match Holland continued to harry.
As Tavistock pressed for more goals, holes appeared at the back as Caradon won the second half 2-0.
