MORE than 300 ducks headed downstream at Cotehele Mill on Saturday in Delaware Primary School's fundraising duck race. A total of £183 was raised, which will go towards funding the new sound system at the school. Despite inclement weather a fun time was had by all and there was plenty of support. As promised, a six-foot 'duck' made an appearance, as well as a last-minute substitute town crier in the form of Callington town crier Dennis Cook. First place went to Olivia Windsar, second to Callum Jewell and third Pete Maunder.
