TO have been chairman of the Tavistock Disabled Fellowship Club for several years was a great privilege. May I use your paper to say so and publicly to thank those very many people who have helped in so very many ways . . . the offices, the committee, the tea party, the drivers and, of course, the members themselves, who bring such a wonderful spirit to every meeting.
I hope that our new chairman, Rosie Farrant, will enjoy it at least as much as I did and that under her guidance this club will continue faithfully to serve the community.

ON behalf of the chairman and committee of Tavistock Area Disabled Fellowship Club, I would like to express our great appreciation for the kind gift of £430 donated by Tavistock Methodist Church from funds raised on Goose Fair Day from the sale of refreshments, bric-a-brac and books, etc.
This was made possible by much hard work by many church members involved in planning and achieving this result, which will greatly assist the club's continuing services to the disabled of Tavistock.
