PUPILS at a West Devon primary school got creative recently by collecting rubbish to make an 'Eco Robot'.
The children at Whitchurch Primary School completed the Eco Robot, made entirely from recyclable materials they had collected, as part of the Eco-Art club run by meal-time assistant Sue Baker.
The Eco-Art club has provided the pupils with the opportunity to discover that collecting items such as margarine containers and cereal boxes can be a fun way of creating art as well as one of the many benefits of recycling old materials.
Lunchtime co-ordinator Sharon Chappell said: 'Being a meal-time assistant is great fun and very rewarding.
'Eco-Art is just one of the exciting activities that the school provides at lunchtime, which is both fun and educational.'
