AFTER losing twice last weekend Zeal got a confidence boosting victory.

After a difficult 10 minutes Zeal took the lead when Harley Cann broke down the left and his cross was converted by Roger White. With Zeal dominating play it looked only a matter of time before they would increase their lead but Winkleigh equalised 10 minutes later when a harmless shot from the edge of the penalty area caught Adam Cann in the Zeal goal blinded by the sun and the shot crept in under the crossbar. Zeal kept up the pressure and two well taken goals by Harley Cann saw them go in at half time 3-1 up.

After 20 minutes of the second half Harley Cann put Zeal 4-1 up with a well taken goal. Winkleigh never stopped trying and were rewarded 10 minutes later when a cross from the left evaded the Zeal defence and was converted by a crisp volley.

Zeal then scored another three goals in a 15 minute spell when Harley Cann scored twice more and Garry Smith hit Zeal?s seventh with a rising shot from fully 35 yards.
