THERE was a convivial atmosphere at last weekend’s Inwardleigh and Folly Gate fair. The special guest was West Devon’s mayor Cllr Mike Davies.

He judged the village scarecrows competition, which was won by ‘The Three Little Pigs’, and the classic vehicles parade, which was won by Paul Stanbury with his 1948 Morris 8.
